Who We Are
Lutheran Campus Ministry at the University of Colorado is a ministry supported by Lutherans for all of campus. All are welcome, whether you are Lutheran or not! We have been doing combined campus ministry with St. Aidan’s Episcopal Church for about 7 years now. Every Tuesday evening we gather at St. Aidan’s for a home cooked dinner and conversation. “Bread + Belonging” was the original name given the this weekly gathering, and now it’s commonly used to refer to the combined campus ministry.
Zach Parris is the pastor of Lutheran Campus Ministry at the University of Colorado. PZ keeps his office at Grace Lutheran Church on the Hill (1001 13th St). You can also find him regularly at St. Aidan’s and around campus. He lives in Louisville with his family and their Chiweenie. He enjoys maps, cardigans, and slow-cooked pork products.
Megan Sawyer is the LCM-CU Program Coordinator. Megan makes things happen! She can be found hanging around Grace, St. Aidan’s, and campus. She’s always up for buying students a cup of coffee, tea, or a warm beverage of their choice. One day Megan will write something clever and funny for her bio, but that day is not today.
Mary Kate Rejouis is an Episcopal priest and the rector of St. Aidan’s Episcopal Church. Mary Kate and St. Aidan’s are our partners in supporting the community of students we call, ‘Bread+Belonging.’ You’ll find Mary Kate every week at our Tuesday night meal and even at St. Aidan’s at 7am on Wednesday morning! (Eucharist+Toast!) She keeps her office at St. Aidan’s.
