The Bread and Belonging community helped me through my years as a lonely and homesick freshman, a stressed sophomore, and now, a confused and worried junior. Virtually together on zoom, we can share conversation over dinner, talk about our days, discuss what we look forward to or might be stressed about, share college life hacks, and have a reliable support system of people to bring back a sense of connection that many of us in isolation are missing.

My name is Julia and I will be leading a small group where I will be hosting weekly game nights remotely! We will be using an app called House Party, and maybe some other cool technology that I find to play games together, but to also just check-in with one another and have a fun community during these very stressful times! I hope to see you all from my computer screen soon!

Stress and anxiety? We’ve all experienced it someway or another, it helps to know you’re not alone! Together we can practice self care to reduce our stress! Yoga, talking with friends, and drinking tea are ways I practice self care, and I’m ready to try out other ways in this ‘Mindfulness 101’ small group!
