On Campus and in Boulder
Lutheran Campus Ministry is a local non-profit organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Members of the Board include the campus pastor, two LCM alumni, two current students, and one member of each of the ELCA congregations in the Boulder-Broomfield Conference. (Conferences are sub-divisions of Synods, which are sub-divisions of Regions – the organizational structure of the ELCA)
We are also a recognized student organization at the University of Colorado Boulder.
We partner with local non-profit religious organizations as well as other student organizations at CU. Key partners on campus include the Episcopal Campus Ministry (Canterbury Colorado), Interfaith Collegiate Core, and the Religious Campus Organizations at CU. We value our ecumenical and interfaith relationships. Our members come from a wide range of backgrounds and represent a variety of degree programs at the University. We are always looking for more people to share their story.
We have also partnered with several departments at the University of Colorado including Career Services and the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Community Engagement. We have offered a program for students where they are paired with a non-student mentor. The pairs meet monthly on their own and monthly with the larger group to do structure work developed by LCM and Career Services in order to help students figure out what they’re doing with their lives, particularly as it relates to searching for a career or major.
